After the jump WKR continues our new feature where we rank the fighters based upon their perceived value to Zuffa (based on "to show" money). Followed by our own rankings.
Value of each fighter for Zuffa according to "to show" money.
Rashad Evans > Thiago Silva > Junior dos Santos/ Gilbert Yvel > Martin Kampmann > Paul Daley/ Dustin Hazelett > Mike Pyle > Mark Munoz > Jim Miller/ Dan Lauzon > Joe Lauzon/ Sam Stout/ Duane Ludwig/ Cole Miller > Ryan Jensen/ Jake Ellenberger/ Rafaello Oliveira > Jacob Volkmann > Johnn Gunderson

I’d make the arguement that Paul Daley should be second or arguably first on the value list. The dude is great at prefight hype and so far has delivered on his promises. I’d still like to see his ground game challenged before annointing him the second coming.
JDS inability to speak great english is holding him from the top spot in IMO. In the meantime he is putting together a VERY nice highlight reel that speaks to all languages.
Daley is just such an enigma IMO.
This was very true,
“The dude is great at prefight hype and so far has delivered on his promises”but his ground game hasn’t been tested. Also, I am loathe to promote a guy really high in these rankings after just one performance.
I put JDS higher bc I think he will fight for the HW Title where as Zuffa will never risk having a fighter win the WW belt who has lost to a champion outside of the UFC (unless they are about to sign that guy).

Odd?
Anyone else think it’s strange that Dan made more than his brother Joe?
Since this is the UFC Analysis post I figured I’d add my 2 cents.
Does Martin Kampmann have the WORST standup defense of all time? While he does have some nice wins It seems like win or lose his face gets plowed every fight. Volkmann is no demon on his feet, but connected with some nice shots. Drew McFedries lit MK up in their fight. Hendo, Nate, etc. For as good as he is in other aspects of his game this will be his downfall anytime he faces someone that has good hands.
Personally I can’t stand Cole Miller’s personality and think now would be a good time for his rematch with Joe Lauzon……but on an UFN instead of a PPV.
Jake Ellenberger is a tank! He is already very good and it’s scary to think how much better he might get. I wonder why he split with Team Quest and if he has plans to get with a more established camp than the one in Nebraska that he is currently at?
Does Martin Kampmann have the WORST standup defense of all time?
Yes, yes he does. I am about ready to jump off that bandwagon.
Jake Ellenberger is a tank!
Would love to see him fight Carlos Condit again but I think that’s just bc I want to crap on the old WEC welterweight division
