Dana White: UFC not targeting WWE
This Monday the UFC will head to Fairfax, Virginia for UFC Fight Night 20: Maynard vs. Diaz.
The UFC usually doesn't hold events on a Monday and this coming week they will go head-to-head with Monday Night Raw but Dana White wants to let everyone know that there is no rivalry between UFC-WWE (video via Cage Writer).
So why is the UFC holding an event on Monday night? Some will claim that it is due to the NFL Playoffs, which begins this Saturday, but in reality it is the fact that George Mason hosts a men's basketball game at the Patriot Center this Saturday.
To the potential UFC-WWE rivalry, the WWE is bringing out the big guns this Monday having Mike Tyson and Brett Hart host Raw (yes, you read that right, Brett Hart). That would lead some to conclude that the wrestling promotion is taking action to safe guard their ratings against the UFC's fight card.
Also, UFC 111, which features two title fights, is scheduled one day prior to Wrestlemania. That lead The Sun to conclude that the "UFC has declared war on the WWE."

I think
The WWE is bringing the big guns out mainly for TNA. The just switched to a live show on Monday night yesterday and they brought out all the old WWE guys. Hogan, Flair, Hall, etc.
"I will do nothing lightly. When I walk, I will walk heavily. When I fight, I will fight with conviction. When I speak, I will speak strongly. When I love, I will love with everything"
A question?
Weren’t Shane McMahon and Dana White supposed to be buddies or something like that?
