Secrecy still surrounds Steve Cantwell's health

Steve gets a second lease on life

No one knows what prevented Steve Cantwell from fighting Vladimir Matyushenko at UFC 108. If we are too believe Dana White Cantwell is facing a potentially career ending issue.

But there could hope.

NSAC director Keith Keizer talked to MMA Junkie about the situation and while he was extremely vague about what happened he did offer some hopeful comments.

"It may be something that's a short-term problem, and he'll be back fighting next month, or it may be something that's a long-term problem. Officially, he was unable to submit all the required medical test results to get licensed, so there's just been no license issued, just like anyone else who has an incomplete application. But whatever the issue was, hopefully he'll fix (it) medically and be able to fight again this year."

WKR's best wishes to Steve Cantwell.
