Spike Preliminary Bouts for UFC 109

MMA Junkie is reporting that Mac Danzig vs. Justin Buchholz and Melvin Guillard vs. Ronnys Torres will be the two preliminary fights shown on Spike TV for free as the lead in to the pay-per view of UFC 109.

Danzig may be fighting for his UFC life as he is 2-3 in the organization including a three fight losings streak. Mac has never been able to translate his TUF season six victory into substantial success inside the Octagon despite immediately dropping down to lightweight.

Justin Buchholz might also be facing termination. Besides being 8-4 overall, Buchholz is 1-3 in his four UFC fights including a two fight losing streak.

In the first fight of the broadcast UFC newcomer Ronnys Torres will fight TUF season two alum, and former crazy person, Melvin Guillard.
