Short and sweet. The UFC seems intent on shoving Lesnar/Mir III down our throats again. Who really wants this fight? Frank Mir. Zuffa's bank accounts. That's it. Brock Lesnar has fought 6 times in the UFC, he's already fought Mir twice. He dominated all but 15 seconds of both fights. I can't think of a compelling reason for a trilogy. Besides money. Frankly, we don't give a damn. Dana White likes to use Twitter to hear what the fans say, I say tell him what we don't want. I saw someone on Twitter come up with a good tag to express how many fans feel, so tweet Dana (@danawhite) with a message and the tag #NoLesnarMir3.

shoving Lesnar/Mir III down our throats again
I’m also looking forward to the Nelson bout, UFC 132: BEEFY VS FATTY! Brock’s wrestling versus Roy’s jiuJitsu and standup game. It’d be a fun scrap, but I’m still down to see if Mir has learned to move his head and do something (anything) when ham-hocks start flying.
I believe you could not order it and save your throat’s virgin integrity.

You’re a machine dude. You catch some flack, probably justified or maybe unjustified, I don’t care for the mundane blog politics. You hate Snowden, Black Lesnar, whatever. At the end of the day, you’re a machine and on top of the online MMA pulse.

I’m glad the Nelson fight’s been floated. That’s a fight I’d like to see, unlike LesnarMir3 which is just a gross piece of potential matchmaking.

Give Brock a confidence building squash match
And let him beat up Kongo. Give Mir a fight with Schaub and if they both win make the trilogy fight a #1 contender match. I don’t have a problem with a 3rd fight but I wouldn’t mind seeing Lesnar fight someone further down the ladder and let him work his way back up.
The Mir trilogy should be later down the line.

you might want to think about it this way. maybe dana thinks lesnar does not have that many fights left......
in the gas tank? he needs to make this match now so the ufc makes their money. after the beating he took from velasquez he might not think mma is what’s best for brock. a beatdown can do this. maybe a bad comparison but gina carano never fought after the cyborg santos fight. i think gina got a serious concussion in that fight?

Cain is a beast and Brock may never beat him, but that dosen’t mean he can’t still be a force.

based on if he beats mir and possibly nelson he gets another crack at velasquez
and same results. then fights jds and losses too. he does not need the money so why would he fight anymore in mma if he can’t get the belt back?

No One Wanted
To see Mir fight a barely top 20 HW but he got that squash match..
Give Brock his easy rebound. Watching Mir get beat up is always fun regardless.
Besides…Dana can see Mir’s days as an even mid-draw are done. This is his last chance to milk Mir for a relevant co-main.
After we see “Brock Smash! Part III” Expect Dana to make Nog-Mir II and milk those 2 for the last for co-main for either.
I’ll say Yes because while it might be soon for the trilogy, i’d much rather see that fight than Mir vs. Schaub and Lesnar vs. Nelson which do nothing for me at all. The trash talk alone will be epic and the buyrate will be big and the winner will actually get a boost unlike the 2 other alternatives it simply makes sense all around to do it.
