Danabomb II: Dana White never listens to the "Internet" except for when he listens to the "Internet"
Ahh, the Danabomb (for an explanation of what a Danabomb is go here), how we've missed the propostrously constructed statements whose logic is more akin to an NFL referee explaining the unnecessary roughness no touching the quarterback rule.
Dave Meltzer provides us the latest quote where Dana White assures us there was no waffling on Lesnar -Mir III because of that there "Internet":
(Side note: this isn't the first time the UFC has struggled with the Interwebs. Heck they were pimping "youtube sensation" Antoine Dodson this past Saturday, go figure?).
"I've never gotten such a negative response to any fight," said White of the immediate Twitter messages.
So, White changed his mind on the fight.
In talking about the change, White said he did not listen to the Internet but rather to his followers on Twitter, although it's hard to really separate the two.
"I usually don't gauge things by the Internet," said White. "The Internet is [expletive] stupid. My Twitter, I do. On my Twitter, there are 1.2 million people that care about this thing and everything else, and you don't get the goofy [expletive] that you get on the Internet."
LOLZ! Dana is 2 kool for this here Internet meme shit! Facebook? No way is the UFC on that and no Zuffa's annual X-mas party will not be at a screening of The Social Network. Google? Dana browses with Netscape thank you very much. And Youtube? Psh, Dana is way above making self-glorifying videos of himself. Take that INTERNETZ!!!
Now Twitter, that is the source of true intellectual discourse totally removed from the Internet. Take this tweet from jjwalkz: "@danawhite fucking fatass". Okay, we'll admit it. It's unfair of us to use some random tweet as a rhetorical crutch. But if you search "@danawhite" on Twitter you'll see a myriad of complaints regarding the recent dismissal of Gerald Harris. I guess this means we will see him back soon, right?
No?
Oh, that's right, Twitter is just a great way for Dana White to tell fans to fuck off as oppose to telling that to media members through Youtube. Ah, Twitter, what snark can't you provide?

I’m shocked, shocked!, that @danawhite would talk out of both sides of his mouth. He could have spun this another way…namely that he’s not swayed by the blowing winds of the interwebz but does have a heart and does listen to fans occasionally. How hard would that have been. Oh yeah, I forgot who we were discussing. I think that’s how he was trying to spin it, it just came out pretty lame…and he no care.

dude forgets where he came from remember when he was a bellhop or a boxercise instructor and the first ufc epiclly failed because it was all super boring decisions and the ppv was cut short by 2 rounds when tito fought matyushenko… dude needs to actually have some experience in the fight game like training with his fighters or Joe Silva actually giving some credentials for why he never puts together the best fights that should actually happen…
"head kicks ??? why not"
dude helped make the UFC a billion dollar business, he doesn’t need to do shit but exactly what he’s doing.
