Mike Brown Will Fight at WEC 48 In May

MMA Fighting is reporting that that former WEC featherweight champion Mike Brown will fight at WEC 48 card in May. WEC 48 will mark the first time that a WEC fight card will air on  pay-per view. The card will be headlined with a current Featherweight champion Jose Aldo and former champion Uriah Feber who has recently made his return.

No word yet on Brown's opponent but it could be Manny Gamburyan or perhaps even if the winner of Deividas Taurosevičius vs. LC Davis, which takes place at WEC 47 this March in Columbus, Ohio.

WEC GM, Reed Harris, recently confirmed that WEC 48 would be a pay-per view card and would cost $44.95. Mike Brown's inclusion on the card is an example of the WEC putting their top talent and names on their maiden trip into PPV.

Rumored card after the jump.

Star-divide

  • Champ Jose Aldo vs. Urijah Faber
  • Mike Brown vs. TBA
