These were some pretty good fights.

Although I think there was controversery at the end, it appeared to me Mike kyle though a punch after the bell knocking Trvis Wiuf silly.,

Think for yourself. Your perspective is infinitely more valued than anyone's opinion.

The production was typical of HDnet produced events.

Second only to the UFC. Some small gripes about camera angles but nothing major. Good commentary from the Voice.

HDnet fights always has good production, at least as good as Strikeforce.

Explain what these guys do wrong Mr Woods.

Other than occassional and ever improving camera direction?

I am really tired of “Not looking like the UFC” = “poorly produced”.

Mike and Goldy are just as goofy with some of the silly stuff they say, so I dearly hope you’re not going to get after Strikeforce’s crew?

I was just commenting on how most people don’t think very highly of Showtime’s production.

Personally, I think their production is fine minus some of the commentary and lack of pre-fight interviews. But Rogan and Goldie’s commentary isn’t all that great either.

I disagree most people have a problem with it.

I think most people who voice their opinion on blogs have a problem with it. A very vocal minority. And most of these people also bash Strikeforce for other unrelated reasons, and just expect things to look like the UFC. I believe most of this criticism either comes from a pro-UFC bias or a subconcsious bias in favor of simply looking like the UFC.

This is evidenced by the WEC, who looks more amataur honestly than Strikeforce, getting a total pass and seldom criticized.

It is refreshing to hear someone agree publically that Strikeforce is fine and the commentary in the UFC is just as poor at times.

This is probably true

Just like how Avatar is the most watched movie of all time

but the majority of online discussion is negative reaction to the simple Disney-movie white guilt laced plot.

8 of 10 reviews bash the movie for that.

it was a Dances with Wolves remake (which is a good movie btw) with just really cool effects.

Ya. But you can't overstate the

complete and utter robbery of many, many Fern Gully plot devices.

They are literally the same movie up until the bulldozer tree cutting machines arive at the respective “home-trees”.

yep, James Cameron loves to still well known devices and then make them really sappy but “cool” bc he understands how to use special effects

Damn! What happened to “No Love”? That guy was getting close to title shot in the UFC and no he’s losing to “no name” guys. I hope this doesn’t into a Drew Fickett style decline.
