Wanderlei Silva could really use a win
It is no secret that Wanderlei Silva has had a rough go of things lately. Being 1-5 (including three brutal KO's) in your past six fights probably means you really need win. Unfortunately Wanderlei can't even score a victory in a game of rock-paper-scissors.
Silva's camp started a "War Wagon" to try and recapture some Pride magic.

I do think he's winding down
But I also think the 3 KOs in his last six is a bit of weird framing.
He’s been KO’d once in the a past two-to-three years. The other two were in 2006 and February 2007 and were to El Ayche Kay and The Right Hand of Doom. Since then he’s lost decisions and KO’d Jardine. Chuck couldn’t even finish him while landing a couple hard ones.
Not angry or anything, I just think that “stat” is thrown around and wanted to add some fanboi context.
All that said, he’s still winding down. I think he -at this point in his career – might be best helped at the hands of one Mr. Juanito Ibarra. He was able to turn the allergic-to-training Tantrum into a technically competent striker in very little time, and I think he’d have even more to work with in Wand.
Dedicated workaholic plus good trainer could equal one last impressive run into the sunset.
