Yoshihiro Akiyama and Wanderlei Silva appear destined to meet

During the UFC 110 post-fight press conference it didn't take long for Dana White to comment on a possible next opponent for Wanderlei Silva.
"Akiyama wants to fight Wanderlei very bad. It’s a big fight that he wants. We offered him another fight and he said he wants Wanderlei."
It was previously rumored that the winner of Silva-Bisping would face Yoshihiro Akiyama, possibly at UFC 115 in Vancouver. With White's comments it appears that the UFC will proceed with the rrumored fight. Ironically Akiyama and Silva were originally scheduled to fight at UFC 110 though the UFC opted for Michael Bisping instead. Of course Bisping was originally expected to face Silva but at UFC 105. Talk about getting to two fights in a round about way.
A fight between Silva and Akiyama would tap into the Japanese market as Wanderlei was one of the most popular fighters in Pride and Yoshihiro is extremely popular in Japan. Vancouver would be a shrewd destination --if the UFC opts to skip Japan-- as the British Columbia city contains a large Japanese population.
But what about Michael Bisping? While the fight was a 29-28 unanimous decision in favor for Silva some (including "The Count" himself) believe the judges got it wrong. A rematch with Silva is possible (perhaps in the fourth quarter in England?) but only if Wanderlei were to lose to "Sexyama".
