Henderson vs. Shields Official (who knows where or when though)

The fight we all expected to happen is now official.

Dan Henderson will fight Strikeforce middleweight champion Jake Shields in a title bout. However, after that big piece of information the details get a little bit blurry as no one knows where the Strikeforce show will occur or on what date the show is scheduled for other than the vague time frame of April.

That fact makes a lot of observers nervous (currently there are rumors that Fedor is jumping ship to fight in Japan and that will relegate the April show to Showtime) but Jake Shields told MMA Weekly he knows where and when the fight will be:

"I have a date (and) venue, but they told me to hold that back," said Shields. "Hopefully CBS. I think it's CBS. There's a slight possibility of Showtime because they're still (working it out). I don't know the rest of the card or any of that yet. But me and Dan's on, and I'm hoping it's on CBS."

Well, at least somebody knows what's going on.
