Goodbye Freak Fights! Alabama Passes MMA Legislation

Congratulations Alabama, you've just passed MMA legislation!
The recently passed bill will change the Alabama Boxing Commission to the Alabama Athletic Commission, which will oversee pro and amateur MMA events.
Now the question is whether this will change the perception of Alabama as a "freak fight" destination for promoters who were unable to secure sanctioning from state athletic commissions. Don't believe us? Here are some well known MMA fights that took place in 'Bama:
While a lot of "freak fights" happened in Alabama there are still four states (New York, Connecticut, West Virginia and Vermont) with athletic commissions that have yet to pass a bill for MMA regulation.

it is kind of the opposite of the scene in Bad Santa where they hit each other in the balls. when Tony Cox (the little person, hell ya i’m politically correct) gets hit he kind of flops over because he is so short. It kind of looks like the Bobo blow ups that you punch and they bounce back up (there goes being politically correct)
