Ben Henderson vs. Donald Cerrone II slated for WEC 48
World Extreme Cagefighting added another title fight to their first pay-per view offering on April 24th in Sacramento, California. Ben Henderson (11-1) and Donald Cerrone (11-2) will meet for the second time in a lightweight title fight.
Henderson and Cerrone first met in October in an interim lightweight title bout at WEC 43. While the fight was controversial decision victory for Henderson it was still extremely exciting receiving many "Fight of the Year" nods from around the MMA community.
Cerrone followed the disappointing loss with a victory over Ed Ratcliff while Henderson unified the WEC title when he defeated lightweight champ, Jamie Varner, at WEC 46.
