Chael Sonnen Crazy Comment Watch

Well, we should of started this feature about three weeks ago but better late then never.
It is no secret that former WEC middleweight champion, Chael Sonnen, has made several eyebrow raising comments in the lead up to his fight with Nate Marquardt but now Sonnen has officially jumped ship.
Talking to Cagepotato Sonnen said,
Sonnen: ...I don't see who [Silva]'s beat that's so great.
Ben Fowlkes: He beat Nate Marquardt.
Sonnen: I didn't see that. Did he fight Nate?
Ben Fowlkes: Yeah. Knocked him out.
Sonnen: Oh, I didn't know that.

Chronlogical order
November 6th, 2009 - Sonnen implies that Jiu Jitsu is gay in a video interview:
Even if I thought I could get a submission I'm not laying underneath a grown man with my legs spread on worldwide T.V. Some guys subscribe to that theory but I am a Republican and we don't do that.
January 25th, 2010 - Sonnen attacks Anderson Silva calling him a phony:
"I would imagine, who knows what Anderson's doing. At the end of the day, who cares. If he wants to leave the division, leave the sport, who cares. Beat it, nobody tunes in to watch him anyways, and his little fake 'I don't speak English. You want me to let you in on a secret, Anderson Silva speaks perfect English. He just has such a low amount of respect for you and all the rest of the media that he pretends he doesn't."
February 3rd, 2010 - Sonnen takes aim at Mark Coleman on Pro MMA Radio:
"Even though Mark Coleman is a bum, he wins fights. Who’s Mark Coleman’s coach? Who is Mark Coleman’s training partner? What is the name of the gym that he trains at? And don’t tell me the Hammer House. I want to know an actual building, an actual piece of real estate with a sign on it. Where does he train?"
February 4th, 2010 - Sonnen tell Ariel Helwani that he is only speaking the truth:
February 4th, 2010 - Dana White responds to Chael's recent interviews:
I didn't agree with 90% of the stuff he said. He said that there's no such thing as a game plan. Really? So who are all of these guys who pretend to know what they're doing in your corner? Are you telling me that you don't want any cornermen?
Tell Randy Couture that there's no such thing as a game plan. Randy Couture has won most of his fights based on incredible game plans.
Pretty much everything he said was dumb. It was crazy and made no sense. I like Chael and he's a good guy, but I don't agree with 90% of what he said in that interview.
February 5th, 2010 - Cagepotato posts a story where Sonnen doesn't remember that Anderson Silva beat Nate Marquardt (Sonnen's opponent that he will fight on the 6th).
Sonnen: ...I don't see who [Silva]'s beat that's so great.
Ben Fowlkes: He beat Nate Marquardt.

Ben Fowlkes: Yeah. Knocked him out.
Sonnen: Oh, I didn't know that.
Sonnen's co-main event fight with Nate Marquardt is for the right to fight the winner of Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort.

It is precious, how you juxtaposed the picture of him sorta-kinda-oh-yes-he-did tapping to Filho’s armbar in your November 6th, 2009 article where he implies that it’s gay. You can’t make that stuff up.

You’re so right. He completely changed my mind about him when he started this for the Okami fight. Killer stuff and so underplayed. I hated him when I first heard him complaining about the Filho fight, but this stuff is so good, and that situation was pretty weird.
He's almost managed the impossible
He almost makes me want to see him fight. He needs to bust out some really crazy “This is Mother Theresa speaking from the bed” kinda stuff.

I wanna see this fight
With him and Nate just too see him get beat down, I didnt care about the bout much before but now I wanna see it, good on yea Chael and I hope your face gets caved in
Nobody's perfect...well there was this one guy but we killed him.
