Mac Danzig earns reprieve with victory over Buchholz

Mac Danzig was in a bad way heading into UFC 109.

The Ultimate Fighter season six winner had dropped three fights in a row, usually a death sentence for most fighters in the talent rich lightweight division. 

Danzig started off slow against Alaskan native, Justin Buchholz, who rocked Mac and battered him with punches in the first round. But from that initial adversity Danzig was able to wins rounds two and three with a series of takedowns and strikes.

For Buchholz, this is his third loss in four UFC fights.
