Dana White provided the press some initial figures regarding UFC 109's live gate.
According to the UFC president the event drew 10,687 spectators for a live gate of $2.27 million.
The Nevada State Athletic Commission will release their own numbers later this week. They usually entail comped tickets and the total dollar value of said comps.
UFC 109 took place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Update: The Nevada State Athletic Commission released their numbers for UFC 109 (courtesy of MMA Fighting).
UFC 109 drew a live audience of 7,432 spectators for a gate of $2,273,000. A total of 3,000 tickets were comped.

i'm curious how many of the spectators got comped tickets.
mandalay bay i think holds at least 17,000 people too.

your right, i just checked it.
i have been to both of them too. i think i was going by that the mandalay bay event center and all it’s other facilities is 5th biggest convention center in the world. vegas also has the number 1 and 2 places. las vegas convention authority which is also connected to the old hilton(on paradise road) and the sands expo which is connected to venetian and palazzo hotel.
