Dana White has reached out through the #1 source for MMA news--Twitter. Dana has tweeted that the Chuck vs. Rich rumors are not true and in actuality Rich Franklin is still scheduled to fight Randy Couture. WKR will have more in the near future.
Off to surprise my friend for her 30th birthday party (hope she does not read this). Happy Birthday Kelly.

MMAjunkie.com has been informed by additional sources close to the promotion that while a Couture vs. Franklin fight has been discussed, there are numerous obstacles that could potentially prevent the matchup from taking place, and bout agreements have not been distributed.

I want to see Franklyn vs Hughes...
I know that’s one fight that I wanted to see, but they said that they were friends so it didn’t happen after season two of tuf. Also there’s no reason why they shouldn’t fight each other as all three fights, rich vs randy, vs chuck, vs tony would be a seller. YOu can also add kimbo, vera, jones, and a few others to the list that rich can fight as his status as an elite fighter are over and the new status of gatekeeper at most begins. No more tittle shots for rich unless somethings happens…
i hope it doesnt come to this but
pretty soon noone will want to fight anyone, with all of these guys switching gyms so much, they will become friends with everyone thus the end of ufc!!!!! just kiddng!!!!!!!!!
