'Strongest Man' signs on to fight Tim Sylvia
In the aftermath of the James Toney signing some UFC fans didn't understand what all the sighing was about. It's not that WKR doesn't like freak fights. We just want them done be shady promoters, in smoke filled barns, with no athletic commission and where the ring girls are strippers. That way we can snidely point and laugh at the fight through the Internet. Is that too much to ask for?
Take for instance this bit of news courtesy of Fighter's Only:
Mariusz Pudzianowski has agreed to a fight with former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia on American soil. The fight, to be staged by a company called Moosin, had been rumoured for late April but the World's Strongest Man legend was scheduled to fight for Polish promotion KSW on May 7th. Polish television company PolSat did not like the risk of him fighting Sylvia two weeks before fighting on home turf in Katowice.
...
However, Korean company Moosin is something of an unknown quantity in the promotion game and previously announced shows have not come to frution. Pudzianowski has signed to fight Sylvia but is he concerned the bout will not happen?
"I’m not concerned at all. I have a clause in my contract that once I sign it, within 24-hours I will receive certain percent of my purse for this bout. If it’s not there, I’m not going anywhere."
Does anyone know a site where you can bet against this fight happening? Anyone?
Poor Tim Sylvia. I wonder if he passed a Clown College billboard about a year ago. That would certainly explain a lot...

Too bad for Timmeh.
Regardless of experience, any man of this size and power is trouble for any one. . Pudz is the Lesnar on roids.. ; )
I wonder if big tim’s still getting sloppy hot seconds from fighters i.e. AA, or even any girl.
I don’t mind, I’m actually waiting patiently for this fight to happen.
