So Apparently Tito Ortiz is "Fine" Now (Update)

Lance Pugmire of the LA Times just sent out this tweet about Tito Ortiz's health status:

Yesterday, FiveOuncesofPain reported that Ortiz suffered "multiple herniations" and had withdrawn from TUF 11 and his fight with Chuck Liddell. Then there was last weekend's avalanche of reports regarding Tito, his health, possible fight with Chuck and TUF 11.

But Dana's tweet puts the latest rumor to bed, right?

Well, It matters on what your definition of "end" is. Does Dana mean immediately after the show or perhaps several months after? Once you really think about, end is fairly ambiguous. Or we've just been rumored to death and our seeing shadows at every turn.

It should be noted that if Tito Ortiz left TUF 11 then writing about it would technically be a spoiler. And if the UFC's past actions regarding a certain someone reporting on the final match-ups for a certain season of TUF, then it is safe to say that the UFC doesn't take too kindly to spoilers.

Update: Tito Ortiz spoke to Josh Gross of Sports Illustrated and denied the rumors regarding his health:

"Yes, I am [fighting]," Ortiz told SI.com via text message late Wednesday. "Unless Chuck gets hurt."
