Dana White is a charitable guy:

Dana White donated £5,000 (approximately $7,500) to a fund raiser for a toddler with brain cancer.

thisisstaffordshire.co.uk reports on Owen's health status and White's donation.

"The 40-year-old American decided to support the Kidsgrove family's campaign to raise £250,000 to pay for the youngster, pictured, who has a brain tumour, to have life-saving treatment in America."
....
"Ruby's brain tumour was diagnosed in May last year and since then she has undergone surgery and seven courses of chemotherapy.

With Mr White's donation, the campaign total now stands at around £56,000, but the remaining amount must be found before she can be registered for the six-week proton therapy treatment in Indiana.

The treatment is a form of radiotherapy which isolates and treats only the diseased tissue. Ruby's family hope she will receive it in 10 weeks' time."

Props to Dana for doing this

I know the story wasn’t put out by Dana (as far as I know), but charitable acts should be done in anonymity or on a confidential basis.
IMO takes away from the act when it’s publicized about.

In this case though, if I read it correctly, the person still need £200K to get the treatment so publicity helps

I guess any charity is good charity but...

$7500? I’ve donated that in the past and Dana makes at least ten times what I do. Again, it’s certainly better than nothing and good for him and everything, I’m just saying… relatively speaking, it’s really not THAT generous…

What a cheapskate! With al those cars, big houses, and tons of money all he coughs up is that, man… I guess some undercard fighter or two are getting the axe after the next card to make up for the big loss.

Dana was probably just walking by, and that’s how much he had in his pocket.
