Will the UFC draw well on Versus?
Versus is back on DirecTV, which should help with the UFC's debut show but Versus still has a limited sports branding when compared to Spike's 18-34 male demo lockdown (thank you Manswers). Will UFC fans even know what channel the fights will be on? Will Versus limited sports appeal have any bearing during the NCAA tournament? Can the UFC draw over a million viewers and beat out the Faber vs. Pulver record? A lot of questions that will be answered after tonight.

You know the air in Denver is thin, right?
The fight card may be officially listed as occurring in Bloomfield, Colorado but it is really in Denver, which just so happens to be a mile above sea level. Looking at the televised card there are two fights that appear prone to be victims of 5,000 feet. First there is the portly Paul Buentello fighting Cheick Kongo, and the emaciated James Irvin fighting the Italian-pony Alessio Sakara. WKR wouldn't be surprised if we see these fights or others degenerate into fifteen minute sweaty man-pawing sessions. But the flip side is that exhausted fighters make for easy submissions (we are in a 'glass half-empty' kind of mood today).

Wait a second, we've never seen Junior dos Santos on his back...
Perhaps this is last second doubts but we just realized that we've never actually seen dos Santos' ground game before. It is March and the upset madness has already begun. Dare we say, foreshadowing?

End of the line or the rebirth of Brandon Vera?
