Junior dos Santos Takes Out Gabriel Gonzaga

For fans who were hoping to see how Junior dos Santos would perform on his back he was there for approximately half-a-second before escaping and knocking out Gabriel Gonzaga. 

In the middle of the first round dos Santos was able to time a counter left hook when Gonzaga threw a body kick and dropped Gabriel. From there Junior went in for the kill and knocked out Gonzaga.

In the aftermath of the fight both Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg discussed how the victory propelled dos Santos into the top of the heavyweight division. Boys, he was already there.
