Good News for New York, Bad News for Vancouver

First the good news.

Fighter's Only reports that the New York State Senate has passed Governor Paterson's budget proposal, which had revenue from legalized and regulated MMA events. However, the budget isn't approved yet and the New York Times reported that there is an April 1st deadline on the budget (that's nine days!).

The deadline isn't the bad news.

The bad news deals with our friends up North as Paul Lazenby told Mauro Ranallo on The Fight Show (audio link) that it was becoming more likely that UFC 115 would not be held in Vancouver, British Columbia.
