Wanderlei Silva vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama will FINALLY go down at UFC 116

Wanderlei Silva (33-10-1) vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama (13-1-2) is set for UFC 116 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Silva vs. Akiyama is a bout that has been the epicenter of numerous rumors for months. The fight was originally rumored for UFC 110 but the UFC opted for Michael Bisping (he was suppose to fight Wanderlei at UFC 105) with the winner getting "Sexyama".
When Silva won it was expected that he would meet Yoshihiro at UFC 115 in Vancouver. For a moment it was briefly rumored that the fight would be moved to April 17th for the purported counter card though Wanderlei wanted to fight at UFC 116 as his birthday is on July 3rd and he lives in Vegas.
