Randy Couture wants to fight James Toney (sigh)

Actually I think this is good idea. Why Not? 1 As you demonstrated Dana White doesn’t do freak shows like Strikeforce or Gary Shaw.

Randy is 46, James is 41. They’re both skilled in their respective sports. Put James in with the best.

1 Of course I’m interested in hearing why the UFC shouldn’t make this fight happen. After all, it is not like Couture is really on his way towards a title fight if they were thinking of Couture possibly facing Franklin.

WOW! just got on the net and depends on how you look at it, nothing but freak news. Well, I don’t know much about the guy only that he’s been a former boxing champ who has popped for roids in the past. It’s all good though if mercer can do it than you can do it too tony! YOU! CAN! However, there was a very interesting comment by one of the UFC HW fighters in which he stated can’t recall the exact quote, but he said something like tony’s a fighter a one dimensional, but then again you have one dimensional BJJ fighters. So what’s the difference?

Toney’s not a bad signing, except for the boxing clause in his contract.

He’s actually incredibly dangerous to anyone due to a puncher’s chance. And I’d say he’s got the best puncher’s chance of anyone in the octagon. Randy’s got open defense which I fully expect him to tighten, so this should be good.
