Schedule for WEC 47 and MMA Related Events

Tomorrow Today is going to be a crazy! I will be at the Arnold and surrounding activities from the morning till late at night which means no video recap until Monday. Sorry, but I need to get some sleep in addition to covering the event. For those that need a quick guide of WEC or MMA related events this weekend WKR has you covered.

Friday, March 5th

- WEC fighter Autograph sessions from 11:00am to 2:00pm in the Convention Center. 

- MMA workshop from noon till 3:00pm featuring Randy Couture at Exhibit Hall C.

- WEC fighter Q&A with Urijah Faber and Donald Cerrone on Friday from 2:00pm to 3:00pm in Exhibit Hall C.

- WEC 47 weigh-in will occur in the Convention Center on the Arnold Fitness Expo Stage at 5:00pm.

- After the weigh-in the fighters will head over to the The Frog Bear & Wild Boar from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

- Meet and greet with WEC bantamweight champion, Brian Bowles, and former WEC featherweight champion, Mike Brow, at the L.C. Pavilion from 7:00 to 7:30pm (Kurt Angle and Dean Lister will be there too).

- Amateur Mixed Martial Arts Festival at the L.C. Pavilion, which features a whopping nineteen amateur MMA fights. Gates open at 7:00pm with the first bout at 7:30pm. Tickets cost $30-$60 and may be purchased here.

- FIGHT! Magazine party at CONTACT. Doors open at 10:00 p.m. Raffle tickets to be handed out to everyone who arrives before midnight. Plus there will be a ring girl contest wit prizes for the winner.

Saturday, March 6th

- 7:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. Boxing Championships / Martial Arts Festival / Arnold Grappling Championships (Adults).

- WEC autograph session from 10:00am to noon and 2:00 to 4:00pm in the Convention Center.

- Doors at Nationwide Arena open at 6:00pm.

- First fight is scheduled for 7:00pm.

- Televised card on Versus begins at 10:00pm.

- Urijah Faber's WEC 47 after party at Martini Park. According to Martini Park's website in addition to Urijah Faber, Anthony Johnson, Junie Browning, Jens Pulver and Clay Guida will be in attendance.

Sunday, March 7th

- WEC autograph session from 11:00am to 2:00pm in the Convention Center.

- Fight seminars with Urijah Faber at D1 Sports. First seminar begins at 11:00am. Second seminar begins at 12:30pm. 

One last thing, WKR will be in attendance all Friday and Saturday.
