World Extreme Cagefighting handed out $10,000 "Fight of the Night" bonuses for WEC 47.

• Joseph Benavidez was awarded $10,000 for "Submission of the Night".
• Anthony Pettis was awarded $10,000 for "Knockout of the Night".
• Leonard Garcia and George Roop were awarded $10,000 for "Fight of the Night" for their split decision draw.

WEC officials told the media that WEC 47 drew an attendance of 8,345. It was previously reported that there would be modified seating in Nationwide Arena with the audience topping out at 8,500. WKR was in attendance and it certainly looked like there were more than 155 seats empty. That being said this was still the fifth best gate for the WEC and the best for the promotion outside of California.

Update: WEC 47 drew a live gate of $401,000.
