Evening Matchmaking Wrap Up

Paulo-kampmann_medium

Busy day in the matchmaking department. Plus we had another boxing jump into the MMA pool.

Kampmann vs. Thiago the fight that jumps off the screen and would be an intriguing match-up. Both fighter's have room for improvement on their feet (Thiago throwing punches, Kampmann dodging punches). The fight also makes sense for both fighters current status within the division. Paulo desperately needs to refine his skills before being thrown back in with the top-five welterweights and Kampmann needs a big win to solidify his position within the top-ten.

Looking forward

to pretty much all of those. Sakara vs Irvin could be some fireworks as well as Kampmann vs Thiago. Let’s see if The Sandman is back and ready @ 185.

the ufc sure likes rob emerson. i guess they feel sorry that he was portrayed as the enema guy....

from tuf show.

I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. I was building a house, I don't deserve this, deserves have nothing to do with it. Bang. "Unforgiven" I drink your milkshake. I drink it up! "There Will BE Blood"

That was a different douche from that season. I agree, though, it seems like the guy fights every other show, and I can’t figure out why they keep putting him out there. He’s not terrible or anything, but not the most exciting fighter.

emerson's first or second fight after the tuf show was with manny g. he was a +350 moneyline

when manny g. fought nate diaz in the finale he had that weird shoulder injury. i took emerson for 100 dollars b/c i thought he would be mad as hell as to the way he was portrayed and because manny g. is only 5 foot 3 inches even though they say he is 5 ft. 5 in. plus you know some of the other mma guys were making fun of him. he took it out on manny g. he won in 12 seconds. it was the best moneyline i ever hit. now manny g. is in the wec and emerson keeps on fighting in the ufc. i don’t really like him or dislike him but he definitely is not exciting.
