Pink Slips on Parade: Several UFC Fighters Served Walking Papers

Four UFC fighters who fought on the promotion's Versus debut have been let go by the promotion.

MMA Madness reported that Eliot Marshall, who lost to Vladimir Matyushenko, and Shannon Gugerty, who was submitted by Clay Guida were both cut by the UFC. Marshall was upset with being served his walked papers and griped to MMA Junkie about the UFC's decision to part ways.

Light heavyweight, Eric Shafer, was also let go by the UFC.

Finally, FiveOuncesofPain.com is reporting that Paul Buentello, who lost to Cheick Kongo on the Versus fight card, was also let go.
