WKR Random Thoughts While We Wait for the Main Card

We are on a 45 minute break following the last preliminary fight and the start of the televised card.  Here are a few things we have noticed.

• It is absolutely freezing in here.  I assume it is the ice underneath the floor.  I'm sorry, but a cold arena where most of the tight shirts are being worn by dudes is not a good thing.  I have seen way too many man nips and dudes rubbing their pectorals to soften their nips.  It is an odd thing to witness.
• Chris Hawk is proof that being jacked up does not guarantee success.  That guy is a man beast and a fighter who was under .500 just ran through him.
• Do not under appreciate your ring announcer.  The prelim announcer messed up Mousasi's name, messed up what round a fight was in, and told one fighter "to come on down."  I hope he gets to play Blinko.
• Watching at home does have an advantage over being here live.  You can forward through the commercials when we are required to watch EA MMA and Poker commercials all night.
• I was surprised how early the lower bowl began filling up.  The upper deck is blocked off, but the crowd appears decent and the main card has not even begun.  It does not say what the television ratings will be, but I expect a strong crowd atmosphere based on the in house attendance and prelims.
