Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Anthony Njokuani would like Shane Roller to "be a man and stand"

You can add Anthony Njokuani's name to list of athletes who said dumb things on Twitter. Take this ode to buggering from Njokuani:

Roller wants to come out and say that it was easy. I don't think so. Let me be in the right state of mind and will see if its easy fag. Be a man and stand. We're here to fight not make love.

Is Anthony calling Shane a "minuteman" or gay? Not sure which but better cue the angry fan to yell "stand em up! I didn't pay to see male humping."

To Anthony's credit he quickly issued an apology:

Still, essentially calling the ground game gay love making is not a smart move to ingratiate yourself, especially when Roller appeared to have an easy time on the mat.

Fear not Anthony, you may still get that rematch with Donald Cerrone who also lost in quick fashion on the ground.

Heated comment after a loss followed by an apology, these things happen.

Hindsight is 20/20, if Anthony wants to compete at the highest levels he has to improve his ground game. 1 dimensional fighters don’t win belts anymore.
