Did the entire Light Heavyweight Division call each other out?

There was an interesting little light heavyweight round-robin of "call outs" this week at 205lbs.

First, Mauricio "Shogun" Rua said he wants to fight the fossilized Randy Couture next. Randy is completely down with the idea but he's on the verge of signing the dotted line to provide a $45 pay-per view ,Greco-Roman wrestling demonstration with James Toney.

Then there is UFC president Dana White, says that the winner of Rampage Jackson-Rashad Evans fight will get to fight Shogun next. That's cool with Rampage, except he thinks Evans is a step backward and he wouldn't mind fighting Shogun but he really wants another crack at Forrest.

So to recap. Shogun wants to fight the old guy after he beats the fat boxer and Dana wants the winner of the "actor" vs. pundit fight to face Shogun. Oh yeah, Chuck Liddell and Rich Franklin are hoping to make a title run something or another...

I really do hope Rich can put something together

He’s been one of my favs for along time but I don’t think there’s any thing left for him in the UFC. I mean look at the predicament he was in, he can’t beat the middle weight champ so he moves up the the shark tank they call the LHW division and expects to make a run? I really like the idea of putting him in with Couture but what can you do.

No way Shogun gets Randy. Imagine if Randy won the title again…

Pain don't hurt...

I said it before I will say it again Randy wants his last fight to be in the cage going for the title one last time. The whole talking to Joe Rogan taking his gloves off and saying that’s the last time. The guy is smart he knows that Toney will draw huge numbers and lots of people will see it. Should he win it’s not a deserved title but it serves it’s purposes huge buys and a proper exit for a legend of the sport. Commentary is the future for Randy Bonnar is fucked.

I like this^^

Randy and other UFC fighters are cut into the PPV buys. The JT/Couture fight can make The Natural alot of money. He would be stupid to turn down this fight. The #1 contender will play itself out in the Page/Shad fight. So, Randy will have time to fight JT and 1 more fight to see if he is in contention. Randy’s fight after JT will tell just how far or low he is in the title picture. I would expect to see Randy fight a big name after the JT fight. Im thinking Couture vs. Forrest would be a big PPV buy and also relevent in the LHW title scene. The next 6 months in LHW are gonna be exciting.
The thing being left out of this discussion is Lil Nog. Lil Nog is arguably the next best thing, but, Zuffa need to build him up more before he is thrust into a title shot. I am not implying that Forrest or Randy are more deserving of a title shot, I am suggesting. Zuffa will use the biggest names available to contend for the LHW title.

If Russia attacked Turkey from the rear, Do you think Greece would help?
