Tito Ortiz's neck injury the cause for UFC 115 withdrawal
Last night on TUF fans finally got a glimpse into the health issues that prevented Tito Ortiz from fighting Chuck Liddell at UFC 115.
Ortiz told his team that he was suffering from a bulging disc between his C-6 and C-7 vertebrae causing him headaches, pain in his legs and dizziness. Now if these symptoms are accurate no athletic commission in the world would sanction him to fight -- check that. If the athletic commission isn't horribly incompetent or corrupt then Tito Ortiz wouldn't have been able to pass a physical to fight.
Zach Arnold thinks this the end of Ortiz's career and it's hard to look at the mounting injuries and think otherwise. But then again, Grant Hill is still playing basketball and guarding Kobe no less!
Perhaps Tito should go to Phoenix rather than Big Bear next training camp...
Update: MMA Mania brings the video of the surgery.

Time to hang it up Tito
I’ll be the first to admit I am not a Tito fan but in his prime he was one hell of a fighter. I think it’s time to call it quits, between his back and his neck he really has put his body through hell and it’s caught up to him.
No more excuses for losing, just walk away rest and come back and be celebrated when you get inducted into the hall of fame.
DANG video was scary you hear the bones being cut and grinded, man, hope he recovers
wanna see the post surgery video. Also, would’ve liked to have seen a close of of what they were doing the bones being cut and all.
