Jared Hess' Knee just Imploded *Warning Graphic Image*

(Thank you Sherdog for providing medical students a photo example of what happens to a knee when it implodes on itself like a dying star)
Middleweight fighter and season one finalist, Jared Hess, suffered a dislocated knee (pictured above) in his fight with Alexander Shlemenko. When we say "dislocated knee" we mean that Hess' put on his best Gumby impression as his knee become no longer attached to his body.
But fear not! Hess is a warrior, right Bjorn Rebeny?
"It never ceases to amaze and humble me the level of courage and heart that our fighters display here in the cage and Jared Hess showed that yet again."
Who needs a functional knee anyways? It's not like Homo sapiens are bipedal or anything...

Yikes
Like I said to this other dude, I hardly get grossed/freaked out by anything, but leg injuries do it to me. I broke my femur about 9 years ago, and ever since then I cringe and make the bitter beer face and go AAAAAHHHH! It’s like flashbacks or something.
I'm your huckleberry.
Dang, did they pop it back in like they did to buentello's finger? jp
What happened to the bellator contest? I know my stats are low specially since I put to much down on huerta. Damn him!

My fake bets are looking good
My original guesses..
MW- Baker, who then loses to Lombard in the title fight
WW- Hornbuckle, who rapes Goode real gooood for that title
LW- Imada, who gets handled even worse than last season in the title fight
FW- Warren, who smothers everyone including Soto for the title
so far so good. I was rooting for Huerta to lose first round. I can’t seem to like him.

Warren is going to either get subbed by Patricio Pitbull or get out boxed by Soto when he is unable to take him down.
Hornbuckle will be the new champ, Imada is a lock unless Curran darkhorses his way to a W again, and Baker by brute fucking strength over the Siberian Cylone.
Hess is one tough sob, i actually wonder if that 2nd round heel hook actually tore something and got exacerbated in the 3rd round?
Hess’ knee was actually injured in the second round due to the heel hook applied by Shlemenko. Despite Jimmy Smith’s assertion that the technique wasn’t deep, you can see the left knee badly twisted. I believe this is when the damage occurred. As the second round progresses you can see Hess being more tentative on that knee and he was slow to get up at the horn. Bellator went quickly to commercial but you can see briefly as Hess turned toward his corner he was less than secure on his left leg. Early in the third round, Shlemenko landed a knee as Hess shot for a takedown. You can see Hess’ knee dislocate as he braces against the impact. You can also see, during the entire ground struggle prior to the final knee, Jared’s knee move awkwardly. This can especially be seen as he changes from open to closed guard. The second knee landed by Schlemenko, later in the third round, looked identical to the first as Hess braced for the strike. It seems clear, to me, the damage was done and caused by the second round attack on the knee.
