Mr. St. Pierre goes to Ottawa

Today, Georges St. Pierre put on his suit and walked up to Parliament to tell the Canadian P.M.'s, "tear down this wall!"

Okay, that might be a slight exaggeration but the Canadian athlete of the year, and the pride and joy of francophones everywhere, did head to Parliament to advocate for federal regulation of MMA.

While Canada remains a marquee destination for the UFC Toronto is still off limits as the provincial government doesn't recognize MMA unlike the province of Quebec, which will play host to their third UFC event in three years.
