UFC 113 - The Dragon vs. Shogun
One of the most anticipated UFC pay per views in the history of the sport is less than 12 hours away. This high profile event will feature the likes of many UFC veterans, as well as some high profile new comers to the circuit. Controversial mixed martial arts star Kimbo Slice will make his official UFC debut, as well as the much anticipated rematch between Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida and Mauricio "Shogun" Rua. After pondering a long list of available venues to host this extravaganza, UFC President Dana White decided to take it north to Montreal, Quebec, Canada. In addition to the fights mentioned above, the rest of the card will feature the following bouts.
Joe "El Dirte" Doerksen vs. "Filthy" Tom Lawler - Look for the heavily experienced Doerksen to take the fight to the ground against Lawler. His black belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu skills will be too much for the kid to handle. The only hope Lawler has to come out victorious will be a quick knockout when Doerksen isn’t expecting it.
Patrick "The Predator" Cote vs. Alan "The Talent" Belcher - Both fighters are putting up identical 14-5 records, but the edge is in Cote’s favor. Cote has just been in more high profile contests, and knows how to get the job done. Having dropped some weight, and now fighting in the middleweight division, Cote looks healthier and more agile. Cote will win this fight via submission in the 2nd round.
Kimbo Slice vs. Matt Mitrione - Sorry Matt, but you do not have a prayer in this fight. Kimbo Slice is a knock out specialist, and is yearning for a chance to prove himself. Kimbo Slice will come out strong, and knock Mitrione out early in the first round.
Sam "Hands of Stone" Stout vs. Jeremy "Lil Heathen" Stephens - This fight looks faily even on paper, but the one thing that Stout has in his corner that Stephen’s doesn’t is the home field advantage. With both fighters having heavy hands, don’t expect the fight to ever leave their feet. Stephen’s has heart, but it won’t be enough. Stout will win via a 2nd round knockout.
Josh "Kos" Koscheck vs. Paul "Semtex" Daley - Koscheck’s ability to take the fight wherever he wants it to go places him a tier above most opponents he comes across. This will be much the same when he meets with Daley. Daley may be a bit stronger than Kos, but athleticism will be the key. Koscheck will win this fight by unanimous decision.
Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida vs. Mauricio "Shogun" Rua - With the first fight between these 2 fighters going in Machida’s favor via judge’s decision, both fighters have vowed not to let that happen again. These 2 UFC warriors will stop at nothing to take home the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship of the world. Rua will put up a strong fight, but the undefeated Dragon will put up just a little bit more. Machida will stay perfect, and take home the belt via decision in the 4th round.
Don’t miss UFC 113 taking place at the Bell Centre in Montreal Quebec Canada on Saturday May 8th, 2010. If you have not ordered the fight, BoutSportsReport.com will have a fight by fight synopsis and breakdown with up to the minute coverage on every bout!

disagree on a couple
Cote (13-5) has been out for almost 19 months.
Mitrione has more power than Petruzelli.
Stephens has never been KO’d, Stout will win by decision.
Rua will finish Machida. Machida isn’t changing his stance, which is basically his lifes’ work, for a single fight. The same things that happened in the first fight will happen in the second, but with Shogun showing more aggression. This fight will not go to the scorecards and Shogun will win by finish, either sub or TKO.
