EA Sports MMA at E3

The mega videogame festival, E3 2010, takes place this weekend and EA Sports MMA will be on display.
Kotaku sets the stage:
EA Sports MMA (PS3, Xbox 360) - Electronic Arts' entry into mixed martial arts will easily dominate the sports game news coming out of L.A., especially with the game sponsoring three bouts at the nearby Nokia Theater on Wednesday. Although it lacks licensing of the sport's top circuit, going with the lesser known Strikeforce, a strong control set could give it a fighting chance against THQ's UFC Undisputed 2010.
With the rumors that UFC Undisputed 2010 is struggling on the shelves it opens a potential (stressing the word potential) door for Electronic Arts.
The two keys will be (a) gameplay and (b) expectations.
If the gameplay is fun and addicting then the game could exceed industry expectations rehashing the old "is EA gearing up for a bidding war with THQ" rumor mongering narrative.
