Ironic Quote: Dana White, Salt Lake and God (psst God wins)

Cagepotato points out what has to be one of the most foot in the mouth, ironic quotes ever uttered by Dana White (Phillipe Nover is thanking god right now):
"Some people are sending some emails going, 'You guys are crazy going [to Salt Lake City] on a Sunday; it's a holy day,'" White said. "We're going there on a Sunday. We're going to Salt Lake City, Utah, and we're going to put on an event.
"I've had so many people from Utah saying, 'Come on; when are you bringing an event to Utah?' Now we're coming, and we've got people on the Internet saying, 'No, don't come here on a Sunday. It's a holy day.' Talk to God and let him give you the day off to come watch."
What did we learn from this? God is real and he's Mormon. South Park was right....

i’m a Christian (not mormon) but am not offended by this. i’m friends with LOTS of unbelievers, but it’s stupid to be offended by someone’s ignorance of your beliefs. this statement is more of an “oh crap… can we still make it work?” than a “church on sunday is stupid” statement. i’m not bothered by it.
I'm old school hating Lesnar, I've been hating Lesnar since '08
I'm going to start being the BE or KidNate of commenters, I'm just going to copy and paste your comments and say "I agree & Dana White sucks!"
slc on sunday is pretty fuckin stupid
I’m glad this happened. Dana was obviously in the mindset of “awww one holy day at a ufc is no biggie” and just learned that to the religious, it is a biggie. A big biggie.
I’m glad a small, fixable occurence in america taught them this lesson before they have a trainwreck overseas in some new market where they can’t move the event 100 miles south and sell it out
Even a broken clock is right two times a day.
