They will fail in Germany
again and again and again. Unless we get a champion or some media outlet that will not bash on this. Maybe a TV Show before 23.00 would help as well. If they go to Oberhausen it will be really in the center of Germany and should be reachable from everywhere instead of just by North or South.
The point about going to Germany is that it is the center of Europe. Fans can come from France, England, Germany, Netherlands, Skandinavia, Eastern Europe as it is really easy to reach. Yet they need some place with a cheap airport in reach to really capitalize on it. I don’t think they stand big of a chance in Germany alone as you said: it’s banned in TV now… Boxing did a good job here. We have a few small MMA events, but it’s nothing compared to the US or even England.
I totally agree that Canda has the help of US people crossing over.
Media is just bashing everything down in Germany, even the guys commenting Kickboxing matches on TV badmouth MMA. With almost no positive feedback about MMA events it will only be a small niche in germany.
Why not go to England to dominate there you ask? It’s a friggin island and fairly limited. They want the old continent and germany is pretty much the center of it all. Only countries that really makes sense to me are Brazil, even though it might be poor and Japan, even though they love freakshows.
