TUF 11 Finale Results And Reactions

tuf 11 finals

All in all, this TUF finale was pretty entertaining.  I'm usually not too big a fan of the TUF Fight Nights, but this card turned out great.  Entertaining fights from start to finish, this was an absolute success for the UFC.  After the recent trouble they've had with Undisputed 2010 and the state of Utah, I think they needed this.

Some pretty interesting story lines coming out of tonight's event.  From Jardine losing a point to an accidental eye poke, Leben handing Aaron Simpson his first loss, Court McGee handling Kris McCray, and Spencer Fisher losing an iffy decision, there certainly wasn't any shortage of drama tonight.

The complete results after the jump, but what did you guys think?  What was the top storyline of the finale?

None of the above

The biggest storyline is the fact that Matt Hamill was allowed to fight with a staph infection.

I thought he had been shot in the back.

I cant believe they let him fight like that

Hamill totally gave Jardine staph. They were both bleeding…

Good point!

Every person that entered that ring after that fight was in danger of getting staph… Lawsuits anyone?

Also chris Leben’s KO was epic, if not a bit of an early stoppage.

Simpson was falling all over the place, be protested for a second, and then you could see in his face, he was rocked. Not an early stoppage if you ask me.
I guess the ref could have let Leben break Simpsons jaw, but I like Simpson, so I’m glad they saved him.

it was best for Simpson

even if not for the viewer. At first I’m like “WTF!!!!” but then in a moment after i calmed down (I love me some Leben for some odd reason) I had to admit, Chris was just gonna run over and bomb him in the face some more.

McGee was the story for me with just everything he went through and to win the Ultimate Fighter.

I liked how he dedicated the fight to Chuck.

The Crippler is back in a big way...

or just a top flight gate keeper. I am fine with that role as long as he will always remain on the UFC roster.
