Keith Jardine CUT! Is that the sound of DREAM calling?

Jardinegirls_medium
(The cup size that Keith will be hanging out with will drop by 0.5 liters...)

Here's some surprising news. MMA Fighting reports that Keith Jardine has been cut from the UFC.

Some people (this guy right here) thought that Jardine would be safe for life as he defeated both Chuck Liddell and Forrest Griffin, two mainstays of the UFC. But the organization has parted ways with "The Dean of Mean".

So how long before Strikeforce calls? They may have found an opponent for "Babalu". Better yet, let's get Jardine in the DREAM light heavyweight tournament. That way he can fight the Strikeforce guys in Japan...

let the celebration begin!

"You're in this dark tunnel and you've got no way out, you're waiting for light, and you see that light, what do you do? What do you do? You start digging, and getting out. ... I've always beleived you stay in the tunnel and you keep digging when you expect no light. You have the same faith when you expect no light. You have the same beleif in what you're doing when you expect no light. ... It's dark and I'm going to dig through. My shovel is sharp and my pick is sharp and my will is outstanding." --Rod Marinelli 2008 (on his way to that sweet 16!)

His tribute

to “Children of Men” in that last bout got a lot of goodwill for him from me.

I just dont know why they even used the same name. The book is much more like 1984 where the movie is more Road Warrior

the movie is more...

…relevant to our political fears at the time with strong visuals from our society.

that damn movie is only famous because of that 10 min long shot. It’s gimmicky and the same director is doing it again with his new sci-fy flick with RD Jr. with a 20 min opening shot.

gimmick?

I respectfully disagree because the movie is wonderfully shot, acted, light, written and all around a superb piece of cinema.

I like the sudden death of that annoying ginger.

oh, and i thought the movie was inspired by half-life. kind of like how the novel push inspired a generation.

I just hate when movies are nothing like the novel

unless it’s Fight Club.

I dont mind if it doesn’t live up to the book, but at least try

yaaaay!

I was calling for a jardine win so he could do the dream lhw tournament.

I guarantee he won’t go to strikefarce. He wants to be in the ufc, and the ufc wants him to be in the ufc. Its just simply that they can’t keep an 0-4 fighter. If he gets 1 big win, or 2 small circuit wins he will be back.

But id loooooove to see him in that dream tournament. Babalu, or moussasi, or sokoudju, or king mo v. Jardine? Yes please

especially with multiple fights per night

He seems like he’d handle multiple fights in one night very well

No one should be surprised at this. No one, I repeat, no one can lose 4 straight and keep a job in the UFC. He was lucky to not get cut after three.

That being said, if not for the point deduction, I think he won that fight.

well probably test that theory with bonnar next week
