In a battle of whose takedown defense is worse MMA Weekly is reporting that Carlos Condit will take on Dan Hardy at UFC 120 in London.
Seriously, this is a great match-up for two guys in the top-ten with questionable wrestling skills. Instead let's see them go in there, stand toe to toe and exchange broadsides just like the Battle of Gravelines.

GSP will admit he didn’t apply his submissions correctly. the #1 mistake people make in practice is not applying a submission to the point where the other person MUST tap. sparring partners get lazy and sick of being choked 50 times a day, and so when a triangle, arm bar, etc is applied half assed, they’ll tap and you’ll assume the last 1000 times you did that submission, you did everything right.

How devestatingly powerful Hardy’s stand-up has seemed in his decision victories against Swick and Davis?
Sorry, I just don’t like Hardy all that much but that’s not his fault. Stupid UFC hype machine.
Based on his performance against Rory macdonald. Not to mention hardy is a gigantic welterweight (starts his cuts around 200). Especially how hardy has been focusing on his wrestling since gsp.

Yeah, I’m sure the 6 months of wrestling that Hardy has put in will bring him up to MacDonald’s level.
Who said anything about macdonald's level?
is he fighting macdonald? i thought he’d have to keep it standing vs condit? a smaller, weaker fighter, not known for his wrestling….

I can see him winning by TKO, but I’d rather he lose by tripping on the stairs on the way in and breaking an ankle.

Hardy will be a lot bigger, so I doubt condit will take this to the ground where he has the advantage. On the feet hardy should take this.
And yes, I’m going to say condits subs are better than gsp’s. Be mad

nothing to be mad about Condit has nasty submissions, he should take this to the ground asap and get himself back into title contention.
