UFC Undisputed 2010 Sold 413,400 Units in May

UFC Undisputed 2010 sold 413,400 units in the month of May:
Rounding out NPD's top five were Nintendo's Super Mario Galaxy 2 with 563,000 units, followed by the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of UFC 2010 Undisputed. Though the pair cracked the top five, their sales numbers were below original expectations, selling just 221,100 units on the [Xbox]360 and 192,300 copies on the PS3. The total 413,400 was less than half the million-plus units UFC 2009 Undisputed sold when it debuted in May of last year.
THQ called these numbers "below expectations" in addition to lowering their first quarter guidance. The numbers from June and right after UFC 116 will be interesting to see as THQ's CEO said, "We will continue to drive demand through a strong marketing campaign and by working with our partners at the UFC, including the upcoming July 4th UFC 116 event featuring our cover athlete, Brock Lesnar."
2.6 million units of Undisputed 2010 have already been shipped to retailers, which began discounting the game in order to move inventory.
Hopefully the big man can move some units.

people really wanted to add a quality MMA game the first time around. for the second version, we’ve already played a quality MMA game, sure we had some complaints about it, but i expect most people to skip 2010 until its a $20 game, and then EA to sell about the 460k of their game until it’s discounted.
I'm old school hating Lesnar, I've been hating Lesnar since '08
I'm going to start being the BE or KidNate of commenters, I'm just going to copy and paste your comments and say "I agree & Dana White sucks!"
The game is a peice of garbage
Shitty online connection, no tournament support, and unbalanced gameplay
THQ deserve such failure after this release. IGNs score set those sales down the shitter because it was one of the few honest reviews out there. Sites giving this game a perfect score were paid off
I really like the game myself it's one of my favs to play.
I’d much rather play it than any game that’s out right now.
Ride the Tiger!
from what i was told (didnt play)
Its cool like 09, but all the fucked up issues remain, and the little improvements aren’t worth 60 bucks
Even a broken clock is right two times a day.

Crappy games don’t sell very well usually. It’s not even a UFC issue. Try the game, it will remind you to buy Super Street Fighter IV. At least that’s what it did for me.
Well, anybody who knows me knows I'm no fan of dictionaries or reference books. They're elitist. Constantly telling us what is or isn't true. Or what did or didn't happen.
