Rampage vs. Machida this Fall

Just a few days ago the UFC rumor mill made it seem unlikely that Rampage Jackson would fight Lyoto Machida. Jackson was rumored to be less than thrilled with the idea of fighting that boring karate guy not to mention the fact he had to promote The A-Team overseas.

But late last night Jackson tweeted this:

almost ready 2 sign the bout agreement! i would tell yall who im gonna get down with,but i cant spell his name....hahaha

Does that mean he's fighting Sot.. sotirop... sotirpopla... ahhh hell, that Greek Australian guy?

MMA Junkie says that Rampage verbally agreed to fight Lyoto Machida (that makes more sense than Sotiropopants) potentially at UFC 123 in November.

I'd give Machida the edge

…but it’s going to be an awesome series of exchanges, that’s for sure. I doubt anyone will throw a blanket party in this match.
