Strikeforce's once mythical female 135lbs. tournament is now a reality and it even has four contestants (Psst! Miesha Tate is one of them).
Hitomi Akano, Maiju Kujala, Miesha Tate and Carina Damm (Did I mention Miesha Tate is apart of this?) will compete for the right to fight the Strikeforce champion. Speaking of the champ Sarah Kaufman is fighting Roxy Modaferri later this year.
The first round of the tourney (Hey! Isn't Miesha Tate and her Caged Steel shorts in that?) will take place at Strikeforce Challengers 10 on August 13th with the bracket being determined at the weigh-in as an ode to the old school tournaments.

They have the chance to put on one of the best 135 female fights ever, then run a tournament to promote the division and crown a new contender- so instead o rockin that shit on a big showtime card and, say it with me scott, pro-mo-ting, they dump this shit off on a challengers card to be seen by 150,00 people
