...seem to be the 2 things that will get me on a main Strikeforce card...that and learning how to shake my assets.
I am currently the Strikeforce Women's Welterweight Champion...yet I fought for the title on a Challengers Card. Now, I am set to defend said title against Roxanne Modafferi in just a few days - again - on a Challengers Card.I know that it's going to be a fun and challenging fight...and I always welcome that. Roxanne has been around the sport for a long time and will come game to fight; however, I need to take this fight and make a statement.
That statement will be: I deserve to be on a main Strikeforce Card because I am a talented, exciting FEMALE fighter at 135lbs! I will NOT eat a ridiculous amount of cookies to make 145lbs JUST for the opportunity to be on a main card and growing man parts... well that would just be ridiculous :D
Don't worry, WKR has a solution that we believe will satisfy everyone involved.
Have Kaufman fight beat the living crap out of Stephen Quadros. That way it will be the main event, fans will want to see it and Strikeforce will get "battle of the sexes" ratings. Is there any flaw in this plan? Strikeforce matchmaking duties please!
Update: Sarah talked to MMA Fighting and wants everyone to know she doesn't hate Strikeforce she is just a little frustrated that she is the only champion, male and female, who is fighting on the Challengers cards.

This is indicative of how Strikeforce treats fighters who don’t have a big name from the UFC or Pride or have some marketable angle. I’ll give you two more examples of the guys who actually have the two best records in Strikeforce and can’t get fights.
1. Luke Rockhold: 6-0 in Strikeforce all by first round stoppages. Can’t get a fight. Has called out Tim Kennedy, who he would beat easily. Obviously, Strikeforce is protecting their American hero prospect. Not to mention a lot of their high prices MW “celebrity fighters,” many of whom he’d have a solid shot at upsetting. He’d be a real prospect in the UFC and the middleweight champion in Bellator with one shot at Lombard.
2. Billy Evangilista: 6-0 with one NC in his seven Strikeforce appearances. Yet, Jorge Gurgel, who he beat, gets a high profile fight with Noons. What makes it worse is that Evangilista vs Melendez would be a tornado of a fight. Instead, Melendez has to fight a guy who wasn’t even close to his level in Aoki and now may have to fight him or Josh Thompson again. JZ is coming in and I haven’t Evangilista’s name once as a possible opponent, even though that would be an awesome fight.
It’s pathetic to see these two sit on the sidelines while Strikeforce continues to promote lesser fighters with bigger names.

Strikeforce just doesn’t make sense. Rockhold is a good looking dude, easily promotable with his fighting style, and isn’t a dick. He’s a MW Josh Thompson.

Fuck! and they sideline these guys forever. When was evangelistas last fight? 3/4 of a year ago? And still not a match in site?
Shit even del rosario who is finally getting a challengers headline (which isn’t half as good as even an opener for a good strikeforce card) and has been sidelined since last nov. For 0 reason.
Strikefarce sucks ass. They are controlled by cbs/strikeforce which neither knows or cares a damn thing about promoting. They want ratings NOW, and don’t understand that mma isn’t written shows. You can’t worry about only todays episode and write the next after. You need to build many steps in advance, you need to, say it with me, promote
