Joe Ferrao drops this possible fight with a lone sentence in his latest story for Sportsnet.ca:
And, on top of that, Tito Ortiz is to be added onto [UFC 121] to face Forrest Griffin as well.
Has there ever been a final chapter of a trilogy you were less thrilled to see? How about Pirates of the Caribbean 3 or Matrix 3 or Tito Ortiz vs. Anybody 3?
Update: MMA Fighting says, "No way Joe!" as they cite a source saying Matt Hamill will fight Tito Ortiz at UFC 121.

Tito Ortiz is so past far his prime that putting him in against anyone else would look like murder. Imagine how beat up he would get against someone like Bader
Fact is: despite Forrest being a former champ, he is a jack of all trades fighter with pillows for hands and average speed/reflexes. He will make this a fight despite Titos terrible state.
Dont expect UFC darlings like Randy, Rich Franklin, or Forrest to be fighting any beasts anytime soon. Just look at recent opponents of the bunch in James Toney, Mark Coleman, Tito Ortiz, and Chuck Liddell.

ufc 121 is going to be huge!
I guarantee shields v. Kampmann gets a #1 contenders slot and a co-main event slot. They are going to promote the fuck out of jake and hype him up as by far the most dangerous guy to fight GSP (kos will ruin this plan fyi) let the propaganda roll!
I hope tito gets the win. I’m not a big tito fan, but he is a draw, and themore draws the merrier in my eyes
