A Drunken Look at a Social Phenomenomenaaaaah - Nut Hugging 101

We've all heard this phrase used before- generally in a negative conotation following a post by someone coming from a positive light (perhaps its the ever balancing act of good/bad). Someone who is praising Jake Shields' ground control is a nuthugger. Another who is giving Dana White props on his promoting is, of course, a nuthugger.

To me, this overused rebuttle, if one could call it that, has absolutely zero logic involved. It does not matter what so ever how much a poster is a fan of someone- they are not and never will hug their nuts. Even in the very off chance that said poster is rollin down queer street, and his favorite fighter comes strolling out of the closet and they embrace in a night of passion infused fudgy buttlovin- still no nuts shall be hugged. Hell, I grope myself on a daily basis (sometimes on multiple occassions) and I have never hugged my nuts. Its simply a physical impossibility- even for a midget and a giant in lust. Furthermore, entities such as the UFC don't even have anything remotely resembling a scrotum to wrap your arms around.

In closing, yes I am aware that nobody means this literally. I just want to throw it out there for everyone to stop before they hit the "post" button next time, and think for a moment. Is your point going to be put across more strongly by calling someone a ridiculous thing such as a nuthugger, or would an actual counter-point do the trick better?
