Around SBN: Dana White Announces Koscheck vs. Hendricks for UFC on FOX

Nice to see some things never change

(Guess whose the third wheel?)

Michael David Smith adds a new level of intrigue to what is happening between M-1 and Strikeforce:
In other words, Strikeforce wants to book Fedor vs. Overeem, with an assurance that Fedor can't walk away if he wins. M-1 Global wants to book Fedor vs. Werdum, with Fedor a free agent after the fight. That's a significant difference between the two sides that will need to be ironed out before we see Fedor back in the Strikeforce cage.

Nice to see that there a few constants in the world: death, taxes, sunlight, M. Night Shyamalan making bad movies and M-1acting like M-1.

It should be said that Evgeni Kogan of M-1 has taken issue with Smith's recent reports regarding the promotion.

But it appears that the posturing between M-1 and Strikeforce isn't going to go away any time soon.

wow

Soooo… you have to lose to get a title shot with overeem?

Its funny. Werdum doesn’t want to be tied down. Fedor doesn’t want to be tied down. Nobody wants to be in a championship clause with anyone but the ufc (who can blamethem)

You have to feel bad for Scott Coker

The poor bastard was running a nice little regional promotion. He gets delusions of grandeur and next thing you know he’s sandwiched between a second rate pay cable network that airs his fights as a lead in for Lord of the G Strings, and the Russian mafia pimping a former champion who’s few years past his prime. I’m surprised the poor guy hasn’t gone all R. Budd Dwyer on us.

Lord of the G Strings is second rate?

Their lack of penetration shots signifies the director’s inability to keep up with the tantalizing artistic direction of any 1st rate film

The production values paled in comparison to The Devil Wears Nada.

strikeforce's HW belt is made a mockery of by SF

all the while Overeem is a good fighter.

if i were scott coker, i’d be ready to wash my hands of fedor.

I'm old school hating Lesnar, I've been hating Lesnar since '08

I'm going to start being the BE or KidNate of commenters, I'm just going to copy and paste your comments and say "I agree & Dana White sucks!"

haha at this point, its said without saying

Coker did a great job with strikeforce back in the day. But when he sold his company’s soul to TV execs and some russian and lost control of his own company… shakes head

Don’t get me wrong, some good fights happen. But the company is ran horribly. Its just… a farce
