WKR- By the Book
A few things you may or may not know about WatchKalibRun.com
-There are 289 websites out there with links to WKR
- WKR is mostly visited by males ages 25-24, with no kids, and no college education (I know- shocking!)
- WKR is in the top 70,000 websites in America (hit-wise)
-77% of those hits view the main page, then prompty leave without clicking into another link (aka 77% of you sure as hell ain't reading this!)
-WKR is in the top 10,000 site in Israel!
-WKR is only barely breaking the top 40,000 sites in Poland (whereas our friends at Gals Guide to MMA are in the top 7,000)
- Of all the hits coming into WKR that come from people using search engines, the #1 search term that leads them to WKR is "Riley Steele".
-Of all the hits coming into WKR that come from people using search engines, the #2 search term that leads them to WKR is "Riley Steele War Machine".
-Under 50% of WKR's total traffic comes form America
-Over 10% of WKR's traffic comes from Italy
More after the jump (with graphs ooooooooooh!)
-The percentage of internet user's who have clicked into WKR (also called WKRs "reach") has risen 20% in the month of August in comparison to the prior 3 months' average. (I imagine this has to do with the large number of MMA events this month. As you'll see in the graphs below, WKR tends to go up and down from .001% and .002% which basically correlates with events)
-The % of visitors who leave WKR without clicking into a second link (or "bounce rate") rose to its peak over over 90% in early August, while dipping to a low of under 50% in July. (I'm contributing this to new hits being lower in July due to less articles and thus less new search engine results- and thus a higher percentage of hits came from repeat users who click into stories more. As for the extremely high percent of users not clicking into a second link in August... Mr. B Lesnar seems like a good enough alternative to empirical analysis and a proper scapegoat for the occassion)
Ok... I lost interest. Enjoy!

It's so funny cause I'll stop by here to set up my articles before work
and the “Riley Steele/War Machine” post ALWAYS has the most views from 12am until like 5am. Without fail.

This chart represents the last few weeks of activity (minus the last couple of days) of WKR

If you’ll notice the new trends of the last three weeks. Instead of rising sharply for events and declining sharply, the peaks don’t decline as much and traffic is sticking around. The overall numbers in the past few weeks are much higher than that of the previous period. That’s unique visitors, page views, etc.
“Riley Steele” only accounts for 2% of all traffic
In one month, the number of users who visit WKR has risen by 30%. The previous month’s data included the highly popular UFC 116 with Brock Lesnar.
You state that 77% of visitors to WKR visit the main page without seeing another page and that number rose to 90% in August. You are misinterpreting the data from that site. Our tracking system shows this to be false. Those numbers are right, however, they aren’t “just clicking the homepage”. Most visitors bypass the homepage competely by direct links.
You also state the rate has risen due to more articles and search engine data. This is false, articles are down from the last 30 days and so is search engine hits.
Not only that, but the number is actually trending downward by 6 percent. It used to be at 95%. So that means MORE users are clicking more pages.
The number of pageviews per user is up 20% the last 30 days compared to the previous 30 days.
The time spent on the site is up 68% in the last 30 days
All of this is occuring while the number of visitors due to search engine is trending downwards.
Our audience is decidely male, though some of the males (like chadington and his ilk act like girls)
This high number of visitors isn’t due to an increase in articles or fanposts. We averaged less in the last 30 days than in the previous 30. It also isn’t due to our Twitters.
What you will notice is that our number of retweets is up by almost 100%. That means double the amount of retweets.
Our users are sharing on Facebook more than ever.with Facebook shares up 56% in the past 30 days.
The number of new members signing up to WKR has doubled in the last 30 days
Summed up to say that in Zak’s absence, WKR has survived and dare I say thrived, increasing numbers all across the board in all pertinent categories. Thanks to Subo, Dubba K, David St. Martin, and, of course, myself for shouldering the load in Zak’s absence and increasing the viability of WKR.

i wouldnt compare any numbers to last month
last month was the void left by Zak before others stepped in to write more. Of course everything is up.

LOL @ the scapegoat, I'll be the scapegoat
Because what you’re actually looking at is 90% of users going to an article (not just the homepage), reading it and not clicking anything else. And since my articles receive the most page views, it seems as though they came to read what they wanted and left. LOL. Heck, there have been days where an article has had more page views than the homepage.

because you link from BE fanposts
in order for a reader to get the rest fo the panpost they have to come over to your article man

Actually not. If you read most of my fanposts,
in 80% of them, I post it there.
You’d be surprised at how little views come from people linking their fanposts to BE
